You’ll leave with…

count me in!

Our weekend home is the Inn on Turville Creek, a quiet waterfront hideaway on the edge of Berlin, Maryland that balances luxury, eclectic charm, and a peaceful nature escape. The property has a Main House - a modern coastal farmhouse with cozy gathering spaces, a communal kitchen, and a grassy yard with firepit - complemented by adorable cottages with individual kitchenettes and waterfront porches.

As a group, we’ll gather in the Main House or around the firepit. For breakout sessions or individual reflection, participants will have access to the whole property - stargazing on the docks, sipping morning coffee waterside, or journaling at the picnic tables underneath looming evergreens. Our first morning together we’ll venture to nearby Assateague Island for an immersive sunrise ceremony along the stunning shoreline. From salty ocean air, to swaying marsh grasses, expansive evergreens, and the murmuring creek - you’ll find an exhale, and a reset.

Participants can select between a cozy bedroom in the Main House, or a charming cottage stay.

I'm ready to select my room!

A glimpse into the weekend…

  • Friday: Arrive

Enjoy welcome drinks and charcuterie as you arrive and settle into the experience. Make new friends, explore the property, and relax into your first sunset across Turville Creek as we fire up the grill for a late night dinner, and gently shift into our first workshop, exploring identity and core values.

  • Saturday: Awaken

Bundle into your coziest winter clothes for a pre-dawn ceremony on the beach at Assateague Island, warmed by a blazing bonfire. Back at the property we’ll dive into coaching frameworks and introspective workshops to help illuminate inner blocks and clarify priorities. Close the day by leaning into luxury as our private chef arrives to prepare a candlelit dinner.

  • Sunday: Renew

Follow your body’s natural rhythm towards guided meditation on the dock, or a restorative morning of rest before enjoying a made-to-order chef’s brunch. Integrate weekend insights in our final workshop, and depart feeling lighter,  more connected to your intuition, and ready to lead with renewed calm, courage, and conviction.

A note from your guides…

Hello and welcome — we’re so glad you’re here.

We’re Sofia and Corinne: friends, collaborators, and fellow travelers on this winding, courageous path of leadership. We met on the first day of our coach training at Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership and something just clicked — shared values, curiosity, a commitment to living with integrity and depth. Since then, we’ve continued to witness each other through big decisions, big risks, and the messy middle of growth.

When Sofia stepped away from a salaried leadership role to build a business rooted in creativity and purpose, Corinne was on the sidelines cheering her forward. And when federal workforce cuts forced Corinne into a season of uncertainty, Sofia was part of the steady community reminding her that leadership doesn’t end when the ground shifts — it evolves. This retreat is born out of that kind of care, clarity, and shared courage.

This is a new professional partnership for us, and it’s a labor of love. For this pilot journey, we’re offering the retreat at cost. It’s our way of meeting the moment — investing in women leaders who are navigating a world that can feel chaotic, heavy, and confusing, yet are still choosing to lead with purpose, creativity, and heart. We’re inviting you into our friendship and our professional chemistry — the kind that makes space for depth and laughter, seriousness and play, reflection and joy. Over the weekend, we’ll build a community that is honest, brave, nourishing, and real. Together, we’ll slow down, listen inward, reconnect to vision, and remember the strength that comes from being witnessed and supported.

We believe deeply that the world needs your voice — not a polished or perfect one, but the one rooted in your truth. If you’re feeling the pull, we’d love to have you with us.

Warmly,
Sofia & Corinne

Registration

  • By registering for Restore to Rise, participants agree to honor the following policies.

    Refund Policy:

All payments are non-refundable unless the retreat is canceled by the organizers. Because this is an intimate retreat with limited rooms, your registration reserves a specific spot, and we plan the weekend based on that commitment. There is a minimum number of participants required for the retreat to proceed; if that threshold isn’t met, all payments will be refunded.

    Weather / Safety:
Retreat will proceed rain or shine. Rain will mean more time spent in our cozy indoor areas, and may shift the schedule of our beach excursion. In the unlikely event of weather safety concerns, we will communicate any adjustments promptly.

    Code of Community:
Restore to Rise is a space rooted in safety, respect, and community. We ask that all participants honor the diversity of each other’s lived experiences and maintain confidentiality around the discussions, workshops, and group coaching experiences at the retreat.

  • Participants will be asked to pay 50% of the total cost at registration and will receive a payment link in their welcome email for the remaining balance, due by February 28, 2026.

Many employers support leadership development programs like Restore to Rise, and we encourage participants to explore funding through professional or leadership development funds or wellness stipends.

For entrepreneurs and arts industry professionals, grant funding can sometimes be acquired. We recommend exploring the Maryland State Arts Council Professional Development Grant, and any other professional development grants your industry supports.

If you need us to provide documentation to meet the requirements for employer provided or external funding - please reach out! We are here to help.

What if I have mobility or accessibility needs?
We want every guest to feel comfortable and supported. If you have accessibility considerations, please reach out before registering so we can confirm the room location, bathroom setup, and property access will meet your needs.

What will the schedule be like?
The weekend blends guided workshops, meaningful reflection, structured coaching, time outdoors, and spacious downtime. The full retreat itinerary will be shared with registered participants so you know exactly what to expect.

    Will I have free time?
Yes, you’ll have intentional periods of rest and reflection incorporated into the schedule. This is not a nonstop agenda; it’s a carefully designed mix of depth, pause, and connection.

Do I need to bring anything special?
The retreat dress is comfortable and casual. Bring warm clothes, including layers for the beach. We recommend bringing a journal and shoes suitable for the beach sunrise experience at Assateague Island.

Can I arrive late or leave early?
We strongly encourage everyone to attend the full retreat to honor the experience we’re building together. Early departures or late arrivals can disrupt the experience for the group, so if possible, please plan to be present for the full weekend unless there is an unavoidable conflict.

    Will alcohol be served?
Yes. Wine and beer will be available in the main kitchen, and optional alcoholic beverages will be served with curated meals. There will be ample non-alcoholic drink selections as well to meet the needs and preferences of every guest. For any guests that choose to consume alcohol, we ask that you enjoy it responsibly.
